The campus parking situation is forcing some students to park in unauthorized places increasing the number of parking citations. The student body is growing and so is the demand for more parking spaces. Currently the decommissioning of the parking lot beside R Building has reduced the number of parking spaces on campus.
The Early Childhood Education Center is accepting applications for summer and fall semesters. The Center serves children between the ages of one and five who have a parent who is a JD student. During the summer semester there is no minimum hour requirement for the parent.
Employees at the Jefferson Davis Campus, as well as other work places, will be participating in the Walk at Work Program on April 16th at 2:40 in the afternoon. The event is sponsored by The American Heart Association to promote a healthier work place for the entire community.

Three Jefferson Davis students won awards at the recent state Phi Beta Lambda state leadership conference. Winners and their categories are: Zach Lunsford, first place, public speaking and fourth place, impromptu speaking; Timothy White, first place, accounting principles; and Esther Tidwell, fourth place, public speaking.
